The Music Program at Folk Media Perú offers youth, families, and adults the opportunity to learn and preserve traditional Peruvian and Afro-Peruvian music in Austin, Texas. Through hands-on instruction with culturally significant instruments such as the cajón, quijada, and traditional percussion, participants connect with their cultural roots while developing musical skills grounded in heritage and history.
