In 2021, as our community slowly emerged from the challenges of the pandemic, Folk Media Peru resumed its activities with care and intention. Although we hosted only a few events this year, each one carried deep meaning. Our limited but heartfelt programs focused on reconnecting with families, supporting emotional healing through culture, and rebuilding a sense of community after a period of isolation. Despite the reduced schedule, our 2021 events reminded us of the resilience of our cultural traditions and the importance of gathering—even in small, safe ways—to celebrate identity, heritage, and togetherness.
